Welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m sharing my quickest, effortless, 5 ingredient protein shake recipe. This is a great meal replacement for any on-the-go situation. In my house, that’s a daily accordance! Can I get an amen?
This shake is great for breakfast in the car! The fat in almond butter will slow digestion to help keep you full, and the banana will fuel you. Organic spinach will add folic acid, iron, vitamin C, vitamin K, and calcium. Furthermore, plant-based protein is great for muscles!
Place all ingredients in Vitamix or blender:
- 1 scoop Vega Sport protein
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup frozen organic spinach
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 3 -5 cubes ice
Put everything in the blender and let it do its thing! TIP: Add less/more ice to get the smoothie consistency you want.
Also, I always use PLANT based protein (no dairy, growth hormones, or antibiotics). I am very passionate about using clean supplements, more on that later.
